Insomnia50, our Golden LANniversary, is just over five weeks away and we'd love to have you on-board. As this is a special occasion, we've got a ton of awesome new activities at Insomnia50 that you can find out about on our What's On page. We just wanted to take some time to inform you of some of the things that are happening this time around, since it's such a momentous occasion.

First up, it's our 50th! Woo! It's a time to celebrate, and celebrate we shall with the Insomnia Celebratory Evening! Taking place on Saturday, we've spared no expense in arranging an evening's worth of awesome entertainment, all in the good name of charity. Starting at 7pm the Insomnia Celebratory Evening will include:

• Our now Universe-famous Pub Quiz, with a cash prize pool ripe for the taking.
• The Insomnia Awards: An Insomnia-specific awards show celebrating our community, our event, and our ability to consume alcohol in private venues!
• Live comedy from critically acclaimed comedian Paul Tonkinson.
• Live music from throwback glam-rock spandex-clad titans Saints of Sin.
• Our classiest Classy Saturday yet; Tuxedos up or throw on a dress... with just a hint of 50th LANniversary gold in there.
• To round it all off, our most gilded Insomnia Boat Race yet. Bring a paddle.
